Buffalo, NY Chapter of UAFF Demonstrating

UAFF Buffalo is located at the Ukrainian Cultural Center Dnipro, 562 Genesee Street in Buffalo, NY. The community center was founded by Ukrainian immigrants who had been displaced from their homeland by World War Two.

The founding members sought to establish a community center where they could maintain their cultural identity, pass their heritage onto their children, socialize, and participate in organizations that would continue supporting the establishment of an independent and free Ukraine.

Naturally, they named their new community center after the largest river in Ukraine, which flows past the capital of Kyiv south towards Odesa, entering the Black Sea.

Dnipro is home to multiple Ukrainian American organizations including the Ukrainian Federal Credit Union, the Ukrainian Congress Committee of America, the Ukrainian American Youth Association (UAYA or CYM), the “Ridna Shkola” Ukrainian Saturday School, the Organization for the Defense of Four Freedoms for Ukraine, the Women’s Association for the Defense of Four Freedoms for Ukraine, and the Women’s Choir “Mriya”.

Hundreds of events have been hosted at Dnipro including weddings, concerts, theatre, movie films, dance recitals, fundraisers, banquets, barbecues, birthday parties, and more.

Dnipro hall is available for private use to current members and guests for reasonable prices. Please contact us if you are interested in private event space use or becoming a member of Dnipro.
